SETF is excited to announce the launch of our Adopt a Village Project. Adopt a Village is designed to allow average Americans help and support average Syrians. The campaign's goal is to support freedom, democracy, and the civilian administrative councils in liberated Syria to provide food, infrastructure, and basic services to the people in these communities.

 

Partner Villages and Local Councils:
Adhar, Idlib
Bdama, Idlib
Khirbet Al-Joz, Idlib
Sarmada, Idlib
Miskina, Aleppo

Costs of Aid:

Food Costs:
Flour: $1,400/5,000 people/ week
$4.48/ family of four/ month
$22.4/ 20 people/ month
Cooking oil: $3/ liter

Humanitarian Assistance:
Provide a blanket for $12.50
Provide a blanket and a mattress for $17.50
Provide a tent for $300

Education:
Teachers salaries: $150/ teacher/month

Heating for schools:
$825/week
$3,300/ month (to heat 5 days per week)
$4,200/ month (to heat 7 days per week)

Security:
Civilian security salaries: $150/officer/month
Uniforms: 120/ pair
Boots: $28.5/pair
